On December 15th I turned 30 years old!  I'm not one of those people who gets caught up in age and has ome nervous breakdown every year on their birthday.  I love birthdays and I am thankful for one more year!  I'm also thankful for my wonderful husband and family who put together a surprise party for me this past Saturday.  It was a great time with family and a few close friends I am truly blessed here are a few pics to share our fun times!

Princeton is 4 Months Old!

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all staying warm, the cold weather is slowly creeping in!  I know some people don't enjoy the winter but the seasons really are beautiful and it's nice to have a little change every once in awhile!  Well Princeton turned 4 months old November 24th! He is getting to be such a big boy!  He had his 4 month well baby check up and he weighs 15 lbs. 13 oz and is 25 1/4 inches long.  He is above average in all categories including head size surprise, surprise!!  He is laughing, smiling and talking all the time!  We put him on his belly to help strengthen his back and neck muscles, he has started to roll over a little bit but gets frustrated very quickly!  We'll keep practicing!  We put up our Christmas decorations this month and they are beautiful, I know this year Princeton won't remember anything the memories are more for mommy and daddy right now.  Brian and I enjoyed decorating and listening to Christmas music and just thinking about how blessed we really are!

Family Fun!

It's been a few weeks since I posted and we've had lots of fun since then!  Princeton went to his first Muncie Central Basketball game!  He loved it, he watched like he really new what was going on, and the buzzer only scared him the first couple times:) We also took him to a birthday party, he didn't get to play the games but he really enjoyed that cake and icecream... just kidding!

Happy Thanksgiving

Princeton celebrated his first Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends, what a blessing.  The O'Neal family has so much to be thankful for!  We have had a wonderful year full of God's goodness!  Sometimes it's easy to forget how good God truly is.  When I think about how other families live in the world I can look at mine and see how blessed we are.  We may not have everything we want but we have everything we need!  I have a husband who is a wonderful provider and father to our son and that loves me no matter what, a son who is healthy and happy and brings so much joy to my life, family who is always there, a warm and clean place to call home, more than enough food, and I work for a Non Profit agency that has not had to lay off any employees even in today's economy!  I pray God will continue to help me be grateful and appreciative in all things!

Fall Fun!

Well Fall is here and we are having a great time! The weather is beautiful and we have done lots of exciting things!  We took Princeton to his first Homecoming parade, and just had a great Friends and Family weekend at church!  Here a few pics!

Princeton at 3 months

Wow, I can't believe Princeton is 3 months old! He is getting so big; at his last doctor appointment he weighed 13lbs 13oz and 24 inches long!  He giggles and smiles all the time, he is such a happy baby!  And he is sleeping through the night thank GOD!  He loves sitting in his bumbo chair and playing on his play mat. He started daycare last week and he is doing great and they love him too!

Princeton's first couple of months...

On Monday, July 26th (Princeton's due date) we checked out of the hospital and took our little guy home!  He has been such a joy and everyday is special.  Even during those sleepless nights, and postpartum emotions I wouldn't change a thing!  Brian was a great support, cooking, cleaning, changing diapers and much more. We are learning more and more everday on how to be the best parents we can be!  Here are a few pics of Princeton's first couple of months!

First Day Home!

The birth of Princeton William O'Neal

On November 31, 2009 Brian and I found out we were expecting our first child!  We felt joy, excitment and a little nervousness all in one!  We had only been trying for a baby just a few months!  I had a wonderful, healthy pregnancy Praise God what a blessing!  As our due date got closer we prepared for our son by taking childbirth classess with our doula, decorating the room, and having fun baby showers!  Now for the exciting part!  I woke up Saturday morning on July 24th around 7:00am went to the bathroom came out and told Brian "honey we're going to have a baby today!"  I still felt fine just a little cramping, I showered, did some laundry, Brian even made a frozen pizza!  We called family members to let them know today was the day! We thought we had plenty of time, as my labor progressed we called our midwife and doula.  Brian was so encouraging as he reassured me everything was going to be perfect, that God was with us and He created my body to give birth.  Our doula arrived around 10:30 where she and Brian helped coach me through contractions.  Listening to worship music I felt at peace and knew God was with me.  Around 12:00 I started feeling a lot of pressure we decided to go to the hospital, we arrived at 12:09 and at 12:49 Princeton William O'Neal was born, he was 7lbs 15 oz and 20 1/2 in long!  We were overwhelmed with joy God had blessed us with the most special gift. Welcome to the world Princeton!

The Beginning...

Hello Everyone!

Well it's taken me a long time but I finally started The O'Neal Family Blog!!  I am so excited to begin sharing our lives with family and friends!
Our family began on August 16th, 2008 when Brian and I became our family of two as husband and wife!  It was a beautiful day and beautiful ceremony.  Our family grew to three on July 24th, 2010 when Princeton William O'Neal was born!  What a wonderful gift and blessing from God. 
We are so excited to see what God has planned for us we look forward to growing our family and sharing it with you through our blog!  So be on the lookout for lots of pictures and family updates!
